The Famous Icon Hotel

The Icon Hotel Luton is now heading into a very busy period as we rapidly approach Christmas and the festive season.October was a great month for the hotel as we were again fully booked for a high proportion of the month. We also staged a Pink Pamper Party in aid of Breast Cancer Research on the evening of 23rd October 2011 which around 50 people attended.

The Icon has also become a hub for filming and celebrities. We welcomed an actor who was filming locally in a new Mike Newell film, we had the film crew from Come dine with me and this week we had the pleasure of welcoming Michael Katsidis and his team stay with us. Michael Katsidis will be challenging for the WBO World Lightweight title with Ricky Burns at Wembley Arena on Saturday the 5th November 2011. We wish him all the best in the future!

Dont forget there is still availability for Christmas Lunches, Parties and Buffets in December. Some dates are now sold out but places are still available on various day/evenings.

Good afternoon all, I hope you all had a good summer, autumn and winter are rapidly approaching. Many media sources say winter and snow will be here as early as October! Lets hope it does not bring to much chaos like normal!

The Icon Hotel Luton has had a great summer. We had an extremely busy July and hit high levels of bedroom occupancy throughout the month. August was more as forcasted with high occupancy during the weekends and an average occupancy during the weekdays. The school summer holidays have a direct impact on occupancy and this year was no different. We did use that time wisely and made some nice additions to the hotel and carried out some maintenance works. This included a new stair well in the 3 wing block, signed football shirts in the gym and framed prints in the corridors. All look very nice! September has no been with us for a few weeks and since the school holidays our occupancy is sky high and we have been fully booked on  many occasions.

We will be ending September with our ABBA tribute in Cappello's Restaurant. Ticket prices are £25 for the show and a buffet. We also have some fantastic ticket, buffet and accommodation packages are also available. Call 01582 722123 to book your place before all of the tickets go....

I hope everyone's summer has got off to the perfect start! The Icon Hotel Summer season certainly has. We have been fully booked for 3 consecutive weeks now and we have welcomed over 1,000 guests to our luxury bedrooms during this period. Some of those guests were in the local area for a Take That concert, a Foo Fighters concert and also for the British Grand Prix. The Icon Hotel is a great place to stay if you are attending a large concert or local event. We will always pre book taxis for guests who require onward travel to other locations.

Our new Park and Fly and Meet and Great services are well under way and they have proved hugely popular. We certainly provide the perfect solution for getting your trip of to the perfect start and end.

We will be getting our Christmas brochures printed very soon so please send us your details if you would like one sent to you directly first! Summer

Good afternoon all. Summer commenced this week and the Icon Hotel and Cappellos Restaurant are fully prepared for a great one! Our terrace is now open and we have just launched our Park and Fly and Meet and Greet service to Luton Airport. Within days we have picked up many bookings for these packages and we are very excited about their future. The rates are very low and is the equivalent of £5.00 per day for airport parking. Fathers day was a great success. We had many families join us for the day last Sunday. If you could not be with us then we hope you had a good time also. The Icon welcomes a new team of staff next week who will be joining the housekeeping department. They are experienced and highly proven so we look forward to maintaining the high standards associated with the Icon.
